🚀 Getting Started

Prerequisites

• Node.js 18+ (recommend using nvm)
• npm or bun

Clone the Repository

git clone https://github.com/sahil-sanghvi/nwhacks2026-precheckai.git
cd nwhacks2026-precheckai

Run the Setup & Start Script

The start.sh script will:

• Install frontend dependencies
• Install backend dependencies
• Start both frontend and backend services

macOS / Linux / WSL

chmod +x start.sh
./start.sh

Windows (Git Bash)

bash start.sh

What Happens Next

• Frontend will start on: http://localhost:5137
• Backend will start on: http://localhost:8080

Troubleshooting

• If you get a permission denied error:

  chmod +x start.sh
  

• If bash is not recognized on Windows, install Git Bash or WSL

• Ensure no other services are running on the same ports

Environment Variables

Create a .env file in the root directory:
